Saints vs. Vikings Livestream: How to Watch NFL Week 10 Online Today

Joshua Dobbs was thrust into the starting lineup for the Vikings last Sunday less than a week after being traded to the team. He hadn’t received a single practice rep, didn’t know most of his new teammates’ names and yet led the team to a comeback win last week in Atlanta.

He’ll get his first start for the Vikings at home this week against the Saints. Both teams are 5-4, so Sunday’s tilt could go a long way toward deciding who nabs a Wild Card playoff berth and who gets left out at the end of the year.

The Saints and Vikings kick off in Minneapolis at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Fox. We’ll show you how you can watch, even if the game isn’t available on your local Fox channel.

The game will be shown on TV in the New Orleans and Minneapolisareas (according to 506 Sports) on live TV streaming services, but there may be cases where you’re blocked because of an internet location glitch or just want an added layer of privacy for streaming.

There is an option that doesn’t require subscribing to something like NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Plus, or searching the internet for a sketchy website: You can use a virtual private network, or VPN.

Here’s how you can watch the game from anywhere in the US with a VPN.

Saints vs. Vikings: When and where?

Week 10 of the NFL season sees the Vikings host the Saints at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT) on Sunday. The game will take place at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, home of the Vikings.

How to watch the Saints vs. Vikings game online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the game locally due to incorrectly applied blackout restrictions, you may need a different way to watch the game and that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, plus it’s a great idea for when you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you’re able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, nonblackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US and Canada, as long as you’ve got a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

Livestream the Saints vs. Vikings game in the US

This week’s Saints-Vikings game is on Fox, so in addition to a VPN set to an area carrying the game (see tips below) you’ll need a live TV streaming service that carries a local Fox affiliate that’s broadcasting the game. The least expensive such service is Sling TV Blue.

Numerous other live TV streaming services carry local Fox stations as well, namely YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV, DirecTV Stream and Fubo. They all cost more than Sling TV, but they also carry more channels, including football-broadcasting channels like ESPN. Check out our live TV streaming services guide for details.

If you live in an area where the game is being broadcast, an over-the-air antenna connected to your TV provides another option for Fox. The best part about antennas is that there are no streaming or monthly fees required, though you will need to make sure you have good reception.

Quick tips for streaming Saints vs. Vikings using a VPN

    • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — experience and success may vary.
    • Sling Blue is only an option if and when the ability to get Fox local affiliates is active on your account. You may want to verify that your billing address is eligible for that option before committing your credit card.
    • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
    • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
    • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
    • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.
  • Limit Your Dropped Calls: 10 Tips to Improve Your Cellphone Signal Strength This Holiday Season

Limit Your Dropped Calls: 10 Tips to Improve Your Cellphone Signal Strength This Holiday Season

We live in a connected world, and these days, losing your cellphone signal doesn’t just mean you can’t check Instagram — it could be a matter of life and death. Regardless of which type of phone you have or which cellular service provider you use, it’s inevitable that you’ll run into service disruptions, either from bad weather or remote areas that can weaken your phone signal.

As travel ramps up ahead of the winter holidays, losing your cellphone signal can get you into a real jam while you’re on the road. If you want to avoid losing signal when navigating, dropping important calls with friends and family or even missing crucial travel updates and advisories this holiday season, there are several tips and tricks you can use to improve your cellphone signal.

The tried-and-true approach of turning on Airplane mode, waiting a few seconds and then turning it off again can definitely help with reception. But when that doesn’t work, you might need to take more drastic steps, like removing your SIM card or resetting your network settings.

Before you dive into your phone’s settings, take a few minutes to perform some basic troubleshooting steps that could get your phone working at peak performance.

Note: Although software across different iPhone models is relatively the same, Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel and other Android devices may have different software versions, and so certain settings and where they are located might differ from device to device.

To improve your cellphone service, try these steps first

The settings on your phone can help you get better cell service, but there are other tricks for improving your reception without even touching your phone’s software.

    • Move yourself so that there are no obstructions between your phone and any cell towers outside. That might involve stepping away from metal objects or concrete walls, which both kill reception. Instead, get to a window or go outside if possible.
    • Remove your phone case. It doesn’t hurt to remove whatever case you have on your phone, especially if it’s thick, so that the phone’s antenna isn’t blocked by anything and can get a better signal.
    • Make sure your phone is charged. Searching for and connecting to a stronger signal drains power, so if your phone battery is already low on charge, you may have a difficult time getting good service.

Always start by turning Airplane mode on and off

Turning your phone’s connection off and then back on is the quickest and easiest way to try and fix your signal woes. If you’re moving around from one location to another, toggling Airplane mode restarts the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and cellular network modems, which forces them to find the best signal in the area.

Android: Swipe down from the top of your screen — to access the Quick Settings panel — and then tap the Airplane mode icon. Wait for your phone to completely disconnect from its Wi-Fi and cellular connections. It doesn’t happen instantly, so give it a good 15 seconds before you tap on the Airplane mode icon again.

iPhone: On the iPhone, you can access Airplane mode from the Control Center, but that varies depending on which iPhone model you have. On the iPhone X and later, swipe down from the top-right corner to access the Control Center. On older iPhone models, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Then tap the Airplane mode icon, which will turn orange when it’s enabled. Again, wait up to 15 seconds before turning it off.

    airplane-mode-android-iphone

If airplane mode doesn’t work, restart your phone

Our phones are miniature computers, and just like computers, sometimes you can fix issues like network connection by simply restarting them.

Android: Hold down the power button, or the power button and the volume down key (depending on your Android phone), until the on-screen menu shows up, and then tap Restart. If your phone doesn’t offer a restart option, you can simply tap Power Off to shut down your device, and then boot it back up with the power button.

iPhone: On the iPhone X and older models, hold down the sleep/wake button and either one of the volume buttons and then swipe right on the power slider to turn off the device. Wait until it fully turns off, then press down on the sleep/wake button to turn it back on.

Alternatively, you can do a force reset on your iPhone: Press the volume up button, followed by the volume down button and then press and hold the side button. Keep holding it in, after your phone’s screen goes black and until you see the Apple logo appear again.

If your iPhone has a home button, hold down the sleep/wake button until the power slider is displayed and then drag the slider to the right. Once the device is turned off, press and hold the sleep/wake button until you see the Apple logo.

    restart-android-iphone

Take your SIM card out of your phone

Another troubleshooting step that might help is to remove your SIM card, if your phone has one, and then place it back in with the phone turned on. If the SIM card is dirty, clean it. If it has any physical defects, you may need to replace it.

You’ll need a SIM card tool — usually included in your phone’s box — or an unfolded paper clip or sewing needle to get the SIM tray out of your phone.

All phones: Remove the SIM card, check to see if it’s damaged and positioned in the SIM tray correctly, then put it back in your phone.

eSIM: For phones with an eSIM — that is, an embedded electronic SIM in your phone — there’s nothing for you to remove. The best you can do is restart your phone.

Check your carrier settings (and update your software)

Mobile carriers frequently send out carrier settings updates to help improve connectivity for calls, data and messages on their network. Although this feature is available on all iPhone models, it’s not universal on Android, so you might not find carrier settings if you don’t have a supported phone.

iPhone: Carrier updates should just appear, and you can update from the pop-up message that appears. To force your iPhone to check for a carrier settings update, go to Settings > General > About on your phone. If an update is available, you’ll be prompted to install it.

Android: As mentioned before, not all Android phones have carrier settings, so you’ll have to open the Settings app and type in “carrier settings” to find any possible updates. On supported Pixels, go to Settings > Network & internet > Internet, tap the gear next to your carrier name and then tap Carrier settings versions.

Carrier settings on iOS and Android

    Reset your phone’s network settings

Sometimes all you need is a clean slate to fix an annoying connectivity issue. Refreshing your phone’s network settings is one way to do that. But be forewarned, resetting your network settings will also reset any saved Wi-Fi passwords, VPN connections and custom APN settings for those on carriers that require additional setup.

Android: In the Settings app, search for “reset” or more specifically “reset network settings” and tap on the setting. On the Pixel 6 Pro running Android 13, the setting is called Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth. After you reset your network settings, remember to reconnect your phone to your home and work Wi-Fi networks.

iPhone: Go to Settings > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network settings. The next page will warn you that resetting your network settings will reset your settings for Wi-Fi, mobile data and Bluetooth. Tap Reset Network Settings and your phone will restart.

Network settings on iOS and Android

    Contact your phone carrier

Sometimes unexpected signal issues can be traced back to problems with your wireless carrier. A cell tower could be down, or the tower’s fiber optic cable could have been cut, causing an outage.

For consistent problems connecting to or staying connected to a cellular or data network, it’s possible your carrier’s coverage doesn’t extend well into your neighborhood. To help, some carriers will offer a network extender — a device that acts as a small wireless tower that relies on your internet connection, such as AT&T’s MicroCell or T-Mobile’s Personal CellSpot.

Other times, a newfound signal issue can be due to a defect with your phone or a SIM card that’s gone bad. Contacting your carrier to begin troubleshooting after you’ve tried these fixes is the next best step to resolving your spotty signal.

If all else fails, try a signal booster to improve cell reception

If after going through all of our troubleshooting steps, including talking to your carrier to go over your options, you’re still struggling to keep a good signal — try a booster. A signal booster receives the same cellular signal your carrier uses, then amplifies it just enough to provide coverage in a room or your entire house.

The big downside here is the cost. Wilson has three different boosters designed for home use, ranging in price from $349 for single room coverage to $999 to cover your entire home. To be clear, we haven’t specifically tested these models. Wilson offers a 30-day money back guarantee and a two-year warranty should you have any trouble with its products.

With your signal issues resolved, using your phone as a mobile hotspot for a backup connection is easy, but there are some things you need to know. • These 2 Sonoma Features Made Me Think Twice About Safari

These 2 Sonoma Features Made Me Think Twice About Safari

Google Chrome has been my go-to browser for as long as I can remember. From the moment I configured my first MacBook Air, I’ve been faithful to Chrome. Even though I’ve always owned Apple products, I’ve never really paid that much attention to Safari. Chrome always seemed easier to use and frankly, appeared to have more to offer. With the newest release of Apple’s MacOS, however, its safe to say that Safari has turned my head.

MacOS Sonoma was released earlier this fall and brought some interesting upgrades to Apple’s web browser. While these changes aren’t necessarily revolutionary, they’re a nice collection of tweaks that make Safari appealing to me in new and unique ways.

These are my favorite new-to-Mac Safari features. For more, here are the ways MacOS Sonoma is catching up Macs up to iPhones and MacOS shortcuts you need to know.

    Profiles come to Safari

While browser profiles aren’t new to the game, Safari’s are different. Profiles on other browsers are usually meant for other people — family members or guests — who would be sharing the same computer as you, or at least the same browser. Safari’s browsing profiles are more targeted at your own browsing experience, with Apple showcasing profiles for “School” and “Home.” If you want to use Safari on a shared computer, however, you can still create separate profiles for each user.

    sonoma-safari-profiles-step-1

If you want to set up Profiles on Safari, it’s easy to do. All you need to do is open Safari, click Safari in the menu bar and then click Create Profile (this will change to Manage Profile after you create your first profile) -> Start Using Profiles.

    creating a safari browsing profile

When creating a new profile, you’ll need to give it a name (optionally you can pick an icon and color for your profile) and select whether you want to create a new folder for bookmarks or use one of your pre-existing bookmark folders for the new profile.

After you’ve created your profile, you can switch between your Safari profiles by clicking the box at the top next to the search bar that says the name of the profile you’re currently browsing on.

    Web apps on your Dock

Before MacOS Sonoma, if a favorite app of yours wasn’t available to download on your Mac, you couldn’t access it via an app icon in the Dock. With Sonoma, that’s not quite true anymore. If you have a favorite website, you can now create a web app version of it you can place in your dock. This allows you to open the website and use it separately from the Safari browser — think of Safari’s new web apps as bookmarks on steroids.

While the web app may look and behave like its webpage equivalent on Safari, there are differences. A web app doesn’t share browsing history, cookies, website data, or settings with Safari, Apple said. Everything stays in the web app.

Creating a web app for Taylor Swift's website

It’s easy to set up web apps on your dock. Go to the website you want to turn into a web app in Safari, then just go to File > Add To Dock. Alternatively, you can click the Share button, which looks like a square with an arrow coming out of the top, and then select Add to Dock.

    sonoma-web-apps-step-2

After you’ve selected Add to Dock you are good to go. You can tinker with some settings, like the name of the app, but otherwise, you’re all set. If you want to change the settings in your web app, all you’ll need to do is open the app, click the app’s name in the menu bar and then click Settings.

  • Forget Black Friday, Save $750 on This LG OLED TV Right Now

Forget Black Friday, Save $750 on This LG OLED TV Right Now

With Black Friday just around the corner, it would be easy for some retailers to sit back and save the deals for later. But Best Buy is very much not of that persuasion, choosing instead to sell the LG 48-inch Class A2 OLED TV for an absolute steal.

Order that TV today and you’ll skip the original $1,300 asking price and pay a fraction, saving $750 and paying just $550 of your hard-earned cash. And this isn’t some no-name brand, either — LG makes some of the very best TVs around and has done for years.

In terms of the TV itself, this is a great option for anyone looking to upgrade a bedroom TV to something bigger. The same goes for people who want a new TV for the living room but don’t want something so big that it dominates everything and everyone within it. At 48 inches, this is a good size without being a 75-inch monster.

The smaller size doesn’t mean that you’re missing out on features, though. This TV has an OLED display with a 4K resolution, and it’s built on webOS so you know apps for all of your favorite streaming platforms will be present and correct right out of the box. More advanced features include dynamic tone mapping for even better color and contrast, and AI Picture Pro to ensure even your older content looks great on this 4K TV.

If you like this 48-inch TV but wish this deal was for something a bit more cinematic, don’t fret. We’re expecting plenty of Best Buy Black Friday deals to choose from over the coming days, too.

Netflix Is Adding Award-Winning Titles to Its Games Library Soon

Netflix, a CNET Editors’ Choice Award pick, announced at its Geeked Week 2023 virtual event that it’s adding a handful of games to its gaming service in the coming months. Those games include award-winning titles like Hades and a game based on the popular Netflix series Money Heist.

While Netflix is virtually synonymous with streaming movies and TV shows, like Black Mirror and Stranger Things, your subscription also gives you access to a library of mobile games you can play on your iOS or Android device. If you subscribe to Netflix ($7 a month), you can play these games and many more without ads or in-app purchases at no additional charge.

Here are the titles Netflix Games is adding to its service soon. There are no release dates for these titles yet, unless otherwise noted.

    Chicken Run: Eggstraction

This Netflix exclusive is made by Aardman, the makers of the Chicken Run film series. The game is a real-time, top-down heist game filled with feather-raising escapes. You’re tasked with rescuing chickens and making sure they get back to Chicken Island safely. The game takes place after the film Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget ends, so while there’s no release date yet, the game will likely come out around the same time as the film.

    The Dragon Prince: Xadia

Based on Netflix’s Dragon Prince animated series, this role-playing game lets you step into the boots of some of the series’ greatest champions. You can team up with friends to fight villains, discover new stories or share a laugh. Katana Zero

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CaBM1HPD9xI

Slash and dash, and control time, in this neon-drenched action platformer. You play as an assassin with amnesia who can rewind the clock. As the game progresses, you uncover more of your past through flashbacks, until you learn a dark truth about the world around you.

Here’s how you can access games in Netflix’s library.

    1. Download the Netflix app onto your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
    2. Open the Netflix app and sign in to your account.
    3. Scroll down your homepage until you see the Mobile Games carousel.
    4. Tap into a game to learn more about it.
    5. Tap Get Game to download a game you’re interested in.

An additional pop-up from either Apple’s App Store or the Google Play store will open, asking if you want to download the game. After you’ve confirmed that action, the game will start downloading on your device, like other apps.

    When is Black Friday?

In 2023, Black Friday is on Nov. 24. The major sale event always takes place the day after Thanksgiving is observed in the US, which is on the fourth Thursday of November each year. That being said, Black Friday sales have expanded greatly in recent years, moving from a post-holiday weekend event to a month-long bonanza.

Read more: Black Friday and Cyber Monday Cheat Sheet

Which stores have Black Friday sales?

Basically all major retailers — both online and brick-and-mortar stores — have tons of deals and discounts for Black Friday and Cyber Monday each year. That includes the likes of Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart, as well as more specialized retailers such as B&H Photo, GameStop and Dell.

When do Black Friday sales start?

Though Black Friday always falls late in the month, Black Friday sales tend to begin much earlier. These days, much of the month of November is dedicated to early Black Friday deals with many of the big retailers launching showing off their Black Friday ads and launching their sales weeks before Black Friday itself.

As well as sharing online sales, we’ll be rounding up all of the Black Friday store hours and Thanksgiving store closures to help you decide when to shop in person versus online.

Are the best Black Friday deals available online?

Generally speaking, yes. The days of lining up outside of your nearest big-box retailer in the early hours of Black Friday are essentially over. The number of deals launching exclusively in stores has been dwindling in recent years, and this was certainly accelerated during COVID-19 when crowds were discouraged, with much of the shopping at this time of year moving online. Some retailers — such as Walmart — are even launching their Black Friday deals earlier for online shoppers before in-person shoppers get a look in.

    When is Cyber Monday?

Cyber Monday takes place on the Monday after Black Friday, so that’s Nov. 27 in 2023. But with Black Friday sales running throughout November, both in-store and online, there’s less delineation of the two sales than in years gone by.

How long do I have to return Black Friday and Cyber Monday purchases?

This varies by store, but most will offer extended returns windows for items purchases in pre-holiday sales. This should give you some peace of mind when it comes to picking out holiday gifts for loved ones. We’ll be rounding up all of the notable holiday return windows here.

Why is it called Black Friday and Cyber Monday?

The term “black” has historically been used to denote distressing or calamitous events. The earliest known use of Black Friday for the Friday after Thanksgiving was to refer to the practice of workers calling in sick the day after Thanksgiving in the early 1950s. Around that same time, US police adopted the term to describe the traffic conditions during the first major holiday shopping date.

After attempts to move to the term “Big Friday” failed, merchants attempted to ameliorate the term Black Friday in subsequent years, suggesting that its origin was not due to the poor traffic conditions the shopping day created, but because the profit it generated put stores “back in the black” in financial terms.

Then, in 2005, the National Retail Federation coined the term “Cyber Monday” because it had noticed a spike in online traffic the Monday following Thanksgiving. At the time, they believed it was because people were making online purchases while they were at work following the holiday so their kids couldn’t see any gift purchases and because work computers usually have faster internet connection.

There was some chatter about calling the date Black Monday or Blue Monday — because hyperlinks are blue — but eventually, everyone settled on the more futuristic-sounding Cyber Monday. In 2014, Cyber Monday became the biggest online shopping day in the country.

  • Apple Watch Protection: Is Insurance Worth It?

Apple Watch Protection: Is Insurance Worth It?

If you’re a new Apple Watch owner, you’re likely doing your best to not scratch, break or lose the device. But once the newness wears off and you let your guard down, that miniature iPhone you wear on your wrist can quickly become a victim to every object you accidentally swing your arm into, resulting in all kinds of damage, such as a cracked screen.

When you’re already paying between $400 and $800 for an Apple Watch, you may be hesitant to pay even more for an extended warranty or insurance. And even though your watch comes with a limited one-year warranty, it won’t cover an accidental broken screen. For that kind of repair, you’ll need insurance.

Below, we’ve compared the costs of getting your Apple Watch repaired with and without insurance to help you decide which type of insurance — if any — is best for you, from AppleCare and insurance from your phone carrier like Verizon to an insurer such as Asurion to even your credit card company. For more, here’s our take on the new iPhone 15 and the new Pixel 8.

Read more: Is Your Phone’s 1-Year Warranty Really Enough?

Apple warranty vs. insurance: What’s the difference?

Apple includes a limited one-year warranty with each Apple hardware product you buy, and that includes the Apple Watch. With as many as 200 million watches sold, according to some estimates, that’s a lot of warranties.

However, that free warranty only covers “defects in materials and workmanship.” Here’s what’s not covered.

    • Batteries or protective coatings.
    • Cosmetic damage, including dents and broken plastic on ports.
    • Damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, fire, earthquake or other external causes.
    • Defects caused by normal wear and tear.
    • Loss or theft.

If you don’t have insurance, for those kinds of repairs you’re on your own. If you do purchase insurance — whether through Apple or a third-party insurer — all of the above is generally covered for your Apple Watch with the exception of loss or theft. You can find coverage for loss and theft too.

Out-of-pocket repair costs without insurance for an Apple Watch

Apple Watches aren’t cheap, and neither are the repairs — and repair prices can vary, depending on which model you have. For instance, a repair on an Apple Watch Ultra may run you $499, while an Apple Watch Series 8 repair could cost you $299.

If you’re wondering about the cost of fixing a cracked screen, for example, you can get a repair estimate from Apple. You’ll need to know the exact type of Apple Watch you have, like the Apple Watch Series 9 GPS Aluminum 41mm, for example.

You can expect to pay several hundred dollars to repair your Apple Watch without insurance, but if you purchase AppleCare Plus — Apple’s extended warranty and tech support service that covers accidental damage– the cost goes down significantly.

Note, in most regions and countries you need to buy Apple’s extended warranty within 60 days of your Apple Watch purchase. The purchase period can vary from seven days to a year, depending on where you live, so check your region’s specific time frame.

Here’s how much AppleCare Plus coverage costs for each Apple Watch model.

    • Apple Watch Ultra 2: $5 a month
    • Apple Watch Series 9: $4 a month, with an option to pay $79 total for two years
    • Apple Watch SE: $2.49 a month, with an option to pay $49 total for two years
    • Apple Watch Hermès: $5 a month, with an option to pay $149 total for three years

With AppleCare Plus, you’ll also pay a $69 or a $79 service fee for a repair, depending on the watch model you have.

    • Apple Watch: $69
    • Apple Watch Nike: $69
    • Apple Watch Ultra: $79
    • Apple Watch Edition: $79
    • Apple Watch Hermès: $79

Apple Watch repair costs with third-party insurance

If you are looking for something beyond AppleCare, you can look at coverage through an insurer. While some offer protection like you’d get with AppleCare Plus, others have broader plans that cover all the tech you have in your home or apartment.

Just for the watch insurance, Allstate, for example, offers protection plans through retailers based on the cost of the watch that cover accidental damage but not loss or theft. If you shop at Sam’s Club, for example, you can get two years of protection for $60 for an Apple Watch that costs less than $400, with no deductible.

Instead of insurance specifically for your watch, Asurion offers coverage for your entire collection of in-home tech — including your TV, laptop, gaming console, security cameras and your Apple Watch — called Home Plus. Costing $12 a month for the first three months and then $25 each month after, the plan covers repair or replacement (up to $2,000 per claim) with a $99 service fee.

Note, loss and theft aren’t covered, but your homeowner’s or renter’s insurance may cover that. You also can’t include your phone in there. For that you’ll want to check out Asurion’s phone insurance, which you can get for $5 a month for the first three months and then $10 each month after.

Apple Watch repair and replacement through phone carrier protection

Your cell phone carrier may also offer Apple Watch insurance. Verizon, for example, has its Mobile Protect plan that goes for $14 to $17 a month and offers free screen replacement and free watch replacement for manufacturing defects. The plan has $99 deductible for loss or theft.

AT&T also offers watch insurance and lets you insure one device for $14 or $17 a month or bundle up to four devices — including a watch, phone, laptop or tablet — for $45 a month as part of its Protect Advantage. As with Verizon, in addition to accidental damage, the plan covers loss and theft.

    Do credit cards provide insurance?

Some credit card companies offer additional protection and insurance on new purchases made with their card. For instance, some offer protection that insures your new purchases against damage and theft for up to 120 days. If something happens within that time, you can file a claim with your credit card issuer to get the item replaced or reimbursed.

It’s a good idea to check with your credit card issuer to see if they offer protection before you make the purchase.

Premier League Soccer Livestream: How to Watch Bournemouth vs. Newcastle From Anywhere

Newcastle will look to continue a domestic run that has seen them go unbeaten in seven games as they head to the south coast to face Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Last weekend’s win over Arsenal at St. James’ Park has well and truly put the Magpies back in the mix for the top five, despite Eddie Howe’s side currently experiencing an injury crisis for the ages.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, are licking their wounds after a demoralizing 6-1 defeat at the hands of reigning champions Man City last Saturday.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch all of the action live wherever you are in the world.

AFC Bournemouth vs. Newcastle United: When and where?

Bournemouth host Newcastle at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 11. Kickoff is set for 5.30 p.m. GMT local time. That’s 12.30 p.m. ET or 9.30 a.m. PT in the US and Canada, and 4.30 a.m. AEDT early on Sunday morning in Australia.

How to watch the Bournemouth vs. Newcastle game online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view the game locally, you may need a different way to watch — that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it’s also a great idea if you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you’re able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. So if your internet provider or mobile carrier has stuck you with an IP address that incorrectly shows your location in a blackout zone, a VPN can correct that problem by giving you an IP address in your correct, non-blackout area. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

Quick tips for streaming the Premier League using a VPN

    • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming EPL matches may vary.

English Premier League newcomers Luton will be hoping to pile further pressure on beleaguered Man United boss Erik ten Hag as the Hatters take on the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Saturday.

United claimed a dramatic last-gasp victory over Fulham on Saturday, but that joy was short-lived after they suffered a damaging 4-3 defeat to FC Copenhagen in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.

Luton will meanwhile be confident of adding to the United faithful’s woes, following a stirring performance against Liverpool last weekend that saw them go agonizingly close to beating the Reds.

Livestream Man United vs. Luton in the US

Saturday’s Manchester United vs. Luton Town match is on USA Network, which you can access as part of your cable package or at the NBC Sports website with a valid login, and can be streamed via Sling TV and other more expensive streaming TV services.

Can I livestream the Man United vs. Luton game in the UK?

No broadcaster has the rights to show this game live in the UK, due to the traditional Saturday 3 p.m. kick-off blackout, which prohibits matches being shown in the region at that time in order to protect attendances throughout the English football pyramid.

That also means that if you’re in the UK traveling for pleasure or for work, you’re unlikely to be able to watch the game like you normally would at home thanks to geo-blocking.

There is one option to get around this, however. By using a VPN, as explained above, you can set your location to a country where the match is being broadcast and go from there.
