Wimbledon 2023: How to Watch a Novak Djokovic vs. Hubert Hurkacz Free Tennis Livestream

World No. 2 Novak Djokovic faces a tricky task on Sunday as he faces Polish grass court specialist Hubert Hurkacz in this fourth-round clash at Wimbledon.

Djokovic underlined his credentials as the tournament favorite by defeating Stan Wawrinka in straight sets on Friday’s last scheduled game.

Currently ranked 18th in the world, Hurkacz beat 14th seed Lorenzo Musetti in a hard-fought straight-set clash to set up today’s tie.

These two players have met on three previous occasions, with Djokovic winning all three matches. The most recent meeting was a 6-3, 7-5 victory for the Serbian star at the Dubai Tennis Championships back in March.

Below, we’ll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch Wimbledon live wherever you are in the world.

Novak Djokovic vs. Hubert Hurkacz: Where and when is it?

This round-of-16 Wimbledon match is set to take place Sunday, July 9, on Centre Court at the iconic All England Club in southwest London. Play is set to begin at 4:45 p.m. BST local time (11:45 a.m. ET, 8:45 a.m. PT in the US and Canada, and 1:45 a.m. AEST in the early hours of Monday morning in Australia).

How to watch Novak Djokovic vs. Hubert Hurkacz online from anywhere using a VPN

If you find yourself unable to view Wimbledon locally, you may need a different way to watch the world’s greatest grass-court tennis players — that’s where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it’s also a great idea if you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.

With a VPN, you’re able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.

Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Australia, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

    • Friday, July 14: Men’s semifinals
    • Saturday, July 15: Women’s final
    • Sunday, July 16: Men’s final

Quick tips for streaming Wimbledon 2023 using a VPN

    • With four variables at play — your ISP, browser, video streaming provider and VPN — your experience and success when streaming the tennis action live may vary.
    • If you don’t see your desired location as a default option for ExpressVPN, try using the “search for city or country” option.
    • If you’re having trouble getting the game after you’ve turned on your VPN and set it to the correct viewing area, there are two things you can try for a quick fix. First, log into your streaming service subscription account and make sure the address registered for the account is an address in the correct viewing area. If not, you may need to change the physical address on file with your account. Second, some smart TVs — like Roku — don’t have VPN apps you can install directly on the device itself. Instead, you’ll have to install the VPN on your router or the mobile hotspot you’re using (like your phone) so that any device on its Wi-Fi network now appears in the correct viewing location.
    • All of the VPN providers we recommend have helpful instructions on their main site for quickly installing the VPN on your router. In some cases with smart TV services, after you install a cable network’s sports app, you’ll be asked to verify a numeric code or click a link sent to your email address on file for your smart TV. This is where having a VPN on your router will also help, since both devices will appear to be in the correct location.
    • And remember, browsers can often give away a location despite using a VPN, so be sure you’re using a privacy-first browser to log into your services. We normally recommend Brave.

Here’s how to use Shazam to identify songs on other apps.

    1. Find a song playing in the background of another app, like in a TikTok video.
    2. Open the Shazam app.
    3. Press the Shazam button.
    4. Switch back to the third-party app so Shazam can listen.

The music identification app will then ping you with the results.

Here’s how to enable Auto Shazam:

    1. Open the Shazam app.
    2. Press and hold the Shazam button. You’ll see a message that reads “Auto Shazam is on.”

Shazam will then store the songs it identified while using Auto Shazam in your library so you can check back later after you’re finished scrolling.

To turn Auto Shazam off, go back into the app, tap the Shazam button and the feature will be disabled.

You can download Shazam from the App Store for free.

  • Don’t Let Someone Hack Your Netflix Account: Here’s How to Protect Yourself

Don’t Let Someone Hack Your Netflix Account: Here’s How to Protect Yourself

Netflix continues to add new features, changes to its subscription options and fresh content to keep customers satisfied. As a Netflix fan, you may be totally cool with paying extra fees to share your password with friends and family. Some of you may safeguard your watchlists and appreciate the streaming service’s recommendation engine to ensure you watch the titles you like. And it doesn’t hurt that there’s a $7 ad-supported plan now either.

Whatever the case, you probably don’t take your Netflix account — or who has access to it — for granted. But, up against your best efforts to protect your passwords, freeloaders can find illegal ways to snatch your login credentials and stream without your consent. If you believe your account is hacked and someone is watching all the latest Netflix releases, it can get under your skin. Here’s what to look out for and what to do if you find yourself locked out or hacked.

    CNET Tech Tips logo

    Red flag: New profiles

Most of us pay attention to the look of our Netflix home screen and the profiles that sit on one account. Up to five are allowed, but if you only have one or two and additional ones pop up, that’s your first clue that someone has infiltrated your account. In some cases, profiles may have been deleted or altered.

Check with your crew of account sharers to see if anyone added or removed a new profile before you get alarmed. If no one in your inner circle (or their outer circle) is responsible for the new profile, delete it and set up a new password.

To delete a profile, you’ll need to access Netflix on a web browser. Click on your profile icon and tap Manage Profiles. Select the rogue profiles and click Delete.

Next, check the watch history on your profiles. Is there a new TV show in your Continue Watching row? What about a set of new genres in your recommendations section? If you notice a fresh “Because You Watched” suggestion for a movie or series you never watched, there may have been a takeover. Again, ask around your circle first to make sure your mom or son didn’t accidentally binge watch all those K-dramas or baking shows on your profile.

    Do some sleuthing

Netflix sends out an email alert when it recognizes a “new” device that signed in to your account. Typically, the company will provide information on the type of device and the location and date of sign-in. However, Netflix doesn’t do this every time someone logs in, so it’s up to you to periodically check this information. And in light of the password-sharing crackdown, be sure to set your main home as the primary viewing household on your account.

Log in on a web browser and navigate to your Account page. Click Manage Access and Devices under Security & Privacy to view where, when and how people have been streaming from your Netflix account. I once discovered that some stranger in Sao Paulo, Brazil, was enjoying the service on my dime (with a Fire TV Stick), which prompted me to immediately change my password. If you discover similar patterns on your account, it’s time for a password update. We have some great tips for creating and protecting solid passwords.

Before you do that, head back to Security & Privacy and sign out of all devices to ensure that once you change your password, everyone has to log in from scratch. Don’t forget this step if you’ve been traveling and using Netflix at a hotel or vacation rental.

    netflix streaming activity screenshot

Netflix won’t allow you to alter or delete the account activity information, so at least you can take a snapshot of the IP address, device and location to document whether it keeps happening.

    Review your billing statement

It’s likely you have Netflix on auto-renewal and therefore don’t check the billing amount each month. It’s time to take a peek at it to see whether you still have your chosen subscription plan. Follow this advice even if you learned your account was hacked and you canceled Netflix, because someone may still be streaming while you’re being charged for it. Double check the cancellation and billing status.

For active users, if you know you’ve been paying for Standard — which is now $15.50 per month — and you’ve been getting charged $20 for the last three months, there’s a chance someone upgraded you to Premium without your knowledge.

In this case, contact Netflix about the discrepancy and inform them that you’ve likely been hacked. The onus is still on you to change your password and email address.

    Secure your account

It’s imperative you change your password ASAP, before the trickster tries to log back in. Make sure your password is good, too. “123456” isn’t going to cut it. Follow up by checking the rest of your credentials.

It’s a good idea to check whether your email address has been compromised by visiting Have I Been Pwned. Type in your email or phone number and prepare to see if your information has been shared on the dark web. Receive some bad news about a breach here? Me too. A security breach is when your email, password, account name, credit card information or any other data stored on a website is illegally accessed by hackers and released to the public. Swap out your Netflix email address for one that hasn’t shown up in the grimy digital underworld.

Note that when you change your email on your Netflix account page, you’ll be prompted to have a code emailed to you to confirm your identity. Complete those steps to switch to your updated email address. However, if the account’s email address now belongs to the hacker, you’ll have to contact Netflix’s customer service team to report it, or, as a last resort, cancel the account and start a new one.

Remind friends and family who live outside your household that you can transfer their existing Netflix profiles to a new account. Otherwise, these tips may put an end to their freeloading ways, too — if you choose to avoid the password crackdown.

Best 55-Inch TVs for 2023: Samsung, TCL and More Tested and Reviewed

There are so many different models in the TV market, finding the best TV for your space can be overwhelming. Your first thought is that bigger is better, but that’s not always the best bet. “Big” is relative, and you’ll want to make sure you pick a size that’s not going to awkwardly overwhelm the room. To help you find the right model for smaller spaces, we’ve rounded up the best 55-inch TVs of 2023 below.

Most modern 55-inch televisions come with plenty of features and are smart TVs, so you can enjoy streaming your favorite shows and films on Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, Disney Plus and more. And higher-end examples offer all the bells and whistles we’ve come to expect, including full-array local dimming, OLED screens, 120Hz refresh rate, 4K UHD resolution, high dynamic range, a plethora of HDMI ports and even high-end gaming features — including variable refresh rate — to go with a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X. The list below represents some of our favorite 55-inch TVs right now.

    Other TVs we’ve tested

LG C3 series OLED TV: The C2 from 2022 and C3 from 2023 were basically identical in our tests. Since the price difference between the two LG OLED TVs remains hundreds of dollars, we’re recommending the C2 over the C3 for now. Read our LG C3 OLED TV review.

Sony KD-X80K series: Sony is a prominent brand and its higher-end TVs like the X90J do well in reviews, but the entry-level TV in its 2022 lineup, the X80K, didn’t make the list. It costs around the same as the TCL 6-Series and Samsung Q60 TVs, and had a worse picture than both, with lighter black levels and contrast. It’s definitely not a bad TV, and we liked its Google smart TV system, color accuracy and connectivity, but you can definitely do better for the money. Read our Sony KD-X80K series review.

Amazon Fire TV 4-Series: One of many Fire TVs available for sale, this one is typical of the breed: so-so image quality and a smart TV system that lags behind Roku and Google TV. If you’re a big fan of Alexa voice or see this TV at a really low price it might be worthwhile, but otherwise go for the TCL 4-Series. Read our best budget TVs roundup.

Some of the biggest Amazon Prime Day deals are already displayed on the site now, with a special box on the right indicating they are “Available by invitation.” A yellow “Request invite” button sits below the promoted Prime Day price. Clicking that button will register you for a guarantee to buy the product at the Prime Day price when it goes on sale.

Invitations will be granted based on the number of products Amazon has in stock. If your request for an invitation is successful, you’ll get an email from Amazon with a special link to buy the product when it goes on sale.

In its announcement today, Amazon noted four products that currently advertise Prime Day prices and offer the option to request invites: 75% off the Amazon Fire TV 43-inch Omni Series, 60% off the Bulova Men’s Marine Star Chronograph watch, 55% off the JBL Live 660NC noise-canceling headphones and 50% off the Foreo Luna 3 facial cleansing brush.

How do Amazon Prime Day invite-only deals work?

It’s simple for Amazon Prime members to request invites for deals that are available by invitation. Look for the yellow button marked “Request invite” below the advertised Amazon Prime Day price. These buttons will only be present on products that are marked “Available by invitation.”

After you click the yellow button, a small pop-up window will confirm that you’ve requested an invitation, and the product page will refresh to show “Invite requested.” You’ll also get a confirmation email from Amazon with the subject “Invite-only deal requested,” that shows the product you requested and the Prime Day deal price.

If you’re selected by Amazon to receive an invitation, you’ll get an email during Prime Day with a special link to buy the product. The product page will display a timer showing how long you have left to make the purchase. If you’re not selected for the invitation, you’ll receive an email explaining that as well.

You can only apply for one invitation for each product, but you can request invites for as many Prime Day deals as you like.
